Swoop is a native macOS app switcher. Hold ⌥⌘ and a ring of your eight pinned apps appears right at the cursor. Move toward one, let go — you're there.
macOS 26 or later · Apple silicon & Intel · 2.7 MB · Notarized by Apple · 14-day trial, no account needed
No Accessibility, no Input Monitoring, no Screen Recording. Swoop never asks for anything in System Settings — it just works, sandboxed.
Eight slots, arranged clockwise from the top. Pin the apps you live in and they're always one flick away, in the same place every time.
Click an empty slot to add an app, right-click to replace or remove. Or use the menu bar — ⌘1 through ⌘8 switch directly.
Swoop watches only the modifier keys (⌥⌘) through the same public API every Mac app uses to notice the Shift key — not keystrokes, not the screen. That's enough to open the ring, and it keeps the app inside Apple's sandbox.
Swoop checks once a day using Sparkle and asks before installing. Updates are signed with Apple's Developer ID and notarized, and the feed is signed with an EdDSA key only we hold.
Nothing breaks. The ring keeps working; once a day, the first swoop shows a small "Trial ended · Buy Swoop" capsule for three seconds. That's it.
Yes — a key activates up to five Macs. Activation needs the internet once; after that Swoop never phones home except to check for updates.

No analytics. Swoop makes exactly two kinds of network request: license verification (when you activate, and at most once a month after) and the update check. Crash reporting exists but is off unless you turn it on in Settings › Privacy.
